Hi cosmi3x, as it happens I use a port replicator, and haven't had any issues with that and my install of Kubuntu. Obviously it is possible that your issues with the external monitor could be linked to that too.

Hi there,
i installed the Mandriva Dist. on my Tecra M5. The installation was easy but I am not happy with my Port Replicator and the external Monitor settings. WLan and Internet are working withaout any problems.
I think I will give the KUBUNTU a try.

Hey this worked for me with my n95 8gb. On mine the option was Data Transfer and in Amarok I had a newer version so the layout of the dialog box was a little different but the concept was the same. Thanks for sharing this info.

Hey,
if you create a symbolic link from your standalone-start.sh to a file in ~/.kde/Autostart/ for example:
ln -s /opt/GCALLDaemon/bin/standalone-start.sh ~/.kde/Autostart/gcaldaemon
then it will start at every login

Hi, thanks a lot for the info. I also have my 6300 working with Wammu.
Have you gotten SMS retrieval working?
The Wammy database of supported phones shows that you could, but I haven't worked it out yet.

I beg to differ. This is NOT the 'lazy' way. I imagine a lot of people go to many lengths to keep this stuff working as magically as it does. I'm lazy but this is 'THE' way. GOOD JOB all you leet programmers out there.
