Installing Linux Ubuntu family is my favorite among the other distro. It's very easy, except for my friend's laptop that needs to turn off acpi to be able to install.

Hi cosmi3x, as it happens I use a port replicator, and haven't had any issues with that and my install of Kubuntu. Obviously it is possible that your issues with the external monitor could be linked to that too.

Hi there,
i installed the Mandriva Dist. on my Tecra M5. The installation was easy but I am not happy with my Port Replicator and the external Monitor settings. WLan and Internet are working withaout any problems.
I think I will give the KUBUNTU a try.
